Jeffery Povero, AIA

Jeffery Povero is the principal and founder of Povero & Company.  An award winning architect and designer, Povero’s work has been featured on the cover of Architectural Digest (March 2015) and recognized with the prestigious Palladio Award for excellence in traditional architecture. 

Since establishing the firm in 2007, Povero designed a 33 story residential tower at 325 Lexington Avenue in New York City, numerous residential projects including the six-story Harlem townhouse of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, as well as numerous commercial and institutional projects.

In 1997, he joined Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA), quickly distinguishing himself as lead designer overseeing major projects for RAMSA including the main public libraries in Nashville, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Florida, the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at UNLV in Las Vegas, Joan and Sanford Weill Hall at the University of Michigan and The McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

In June 1995, Povero earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas and then attended Yale University, graduating in 1997 with a Master of Architecture.
