West Village Townhouse

On an abbreviated timeline, we renovated and decorated an Italianate townhouse on a corner in the heart of the West Village.
On the parlor floor, the living, dining, and kitchen areas are united with a desaturated blue limewash and mahogany details to intimacy to a grand space. The deep colors also create a dramatic backdrop for a collection of great Italian modern furniture.

The limewash continue through the house up to the skylight on the top floor and inspired the blue tile in the guest bath laid in an interlocking pattern of verticals and squares.

The primary bedroom's calm olive greens are anchored by a luxurious russet carpet, and the en-suite bath features an oversized shower in calacatta marble.

Under the skylight with stairs to the roof deck is the primary dressing area with mahogany wardrobe and built-in dresser with a leather-topped surface for packing and outfit planning.
